Data and deletion help
Deleting a story, removing a backup, signing out and deleting an account have different effects. Complete in-app account deletion is still being implemented; this page does not claim it is already available.
Request account or data deletion
Contact founder@suvrutta.com, preferably from your account email. Say whether you want your account and associated cloud data deleted, or help with a specific local copy. Do not attach private stories, passwords, authenticator codes or recovery keys.
Opening the email link only prepares an email; you choose whether to send it. Sending a request does not mean deletion has completed. The operator must verify the request, explain any retained records and confirm the result. A production fulfillment window has not yet been established.

- Export a copy from the app if you want to keep one. Export is optional and may be unencrypted; read the export preview.
- Delete individual local conversations or stories using their controls. Other saved/shaped versions and exported copies may remain.
- Signing out stops displaying the account’s stories. It does not erase the account, local archive or cloud backup.
- Clearing this app/browser’s storage removes its local copies and preferences. It does not remove cloud data or downloaded files, and may make an unbacked-up vault unrecoverable.
Copies and verification
Already exported files, other devices and copies held by recipients cannot be remotely erased by this preview. An unknown or failed cloud operation must be checked before calling it deleted. Account and vault recovery are separate; do not disclose a vault key to prove ownership.
